About the Lagos ICT Park

The Computer village emerged in the late 90's when internet technology made its foray into Nigeria and savvy business men and women took up positions in Otigba street Ikeja to trade in IT equipment and devices.

By 2002 - the year after GSM services was introduced in Nigeria, Computer Village had become a household name. What began as a humble alley of petty IT vendors had grown into an ICT market of gargantuan proportions. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) says the Computer Village contributed about 2 percent to the National gross domestic product (GDP) in 2014.

Spread over an area of approximately 1Km X 1Km, the ever growing Computer Village is bursting at the seams. Due to congestion, the computer village has completely run out of space to support its rapid growth. The constraint of space and absence of proper planning has led to a deplorable state of amenities and has given rise to critical challenges of over-population, poor sanitation, environmental degradation and pollution as well as rising insecurity and criminal incidents accompanied by infiltration of touts and breakdown of law and order.

Our journey to this legacy project commenced in 2007 when Bridgeways Global Projects Limited (Bridgeways) indicated interest amongst other bidders in the development of the proposed Lagos ICT Business Park to be located in Katangowa in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Lagos.

Emerging from the initiative was a public-private partnership, which granted our company a 36-year concession including a 2-year construction moratorium to build, operate and transfer the Lagos ICT Business Park at the end of the concession period to the Lagos State Government.

Over the 12-year gestation period, the project has evolved from a mere relocation program to a robust concept for ICT advancement, innovation and development in a truly world class centre to live, work and play.

This portal was developed for managing the sales and allocation of shops and other resources in the Lagos ICT Business Park as well as for co-ordinating requests and dispatching timely communications and updates to our subscribers.
